Carla Caruso

Carla Caruso was born in New York City, and being born in 'the city' of creativity rubbed off on the young Caruso, from an early age Carla spent hours recreating the bullfight drawings of Picasso. Working her way up the east coast Carla graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in glass sculpture. After years working in glass, and making jewelry for several prominent New York designers, Carla moved to Western Massachusetts where she now lives. She founded Carla Caruso Jewelry in 2001.

Carla Caruso Jewelry is handmade in a small studio outside Northampton Massachusetts. Carla's love of nature inspires her to create jewelry with a fullness , an elegance, a timeless character and uncomplicated beauty. Her goal is simplicity: to distill an idea to its essence and create precious jewelry that wears beautifully.

Carla live in the natural splendor of Western Massachusetts, where gorges, covered bridges and her favorite vegetable, Kale inspire her daily. It is here she is loved by her best friend and companion Lola the Labrador, and her new husband, Tim.
